What is the European Accessibility Act (EAA)?
EU legislation that, since 28 June 2025, requires a broad range of digital products and services to be accessible. Non-compliant businesses face complaints, fines and, in some member states, removal from market.
Does an overlay widget make a site compliant?
No. Overlays do not fix the underlying code and have been named in hundreds of lawsuits. Real conformance comes from correcting the markup, contrast and structure - which is what our audit writes fixes for.
Can a tool guarantee WCAG or EAA compliance?
